1. What is AllAboutWebServices.com and when did you create it? AllAboutWebServices.com Inc was incorporated in 1998 and we offer website development and web marketing. We specialize in Wordpress sites and we have helped thousands of Clients from a variety of different Countries!
2. How many website domains does your company own? We own just over 1000 domain names that are corporately owned and we managed thousands of domains for our Clients along with 10's of thousands of email accounts!
3. Why in addition to web development are you a Real Estate Broker in Ontario? I realized that I had been selling and owning physical real estate for my working career and then websites came along. I realized that like physical properties domain names all come with a unique address. However physical real estate has many limitations as to what you can build on a single address. however, with a domain address, you can build endlessly. That's when I realized I had to get involved in digital real estate (domains). I also decided I needed to become a (website) builder and I have spent the last 24 years learning how to build and market websites!
4. Why do you believe that your digital media is a better return on investment than Real Estate? Because you can build endlessly on digital real estate as opposed to physical real estate.
5. Can you tell us about upcoming events? Our Team of 7 build 1 to 3 Client sites a month and we will launch 3 to 7 inhouse sites a month starting in Jan. 2022!
Bonus question. What did you think of Marc Jeret and your first impression? Marc comes across as a hard-working and driven individual who is forward thinking and plans to build his future online!
List of marketing domains -> www.marketmycompany.com and www.globalpressreleases.com base sites and need to be built out. They will all link back to my main site which is web services as will www.allaboutwebsites.com which will be mainly for just having sites built. My plan is to have multiple brands under my main site and refer them off.
]]>My Name is Marc Jeret and I am an expert in helping business owners maintain and grow their database of clients with the combination of social media and email marketing campaigns.
Firstly, it is not possible to grow a database FAST.
This is a myth and anyone claiming they can do it is mistaken. It is a tedious process that takes constant check-ups and revisions.
Unless... You already have the database and never had the time to keep in touch with your clients.
In that case, I am your guy!
Most of my clients have been in business for a decade or two some even 3. At that rate, they have hundreds or even thousands of clients that have yet to see their business grow and stay in touch every week. For those selected customers I have proven to help them not only keep in touch and strengthen their existing database of client's but even grow their database FAST!
How did I do it?
•Made a weekly basis newsletter educating the public on the services provided by my A+ clients
•Helped my clients post on social media sites they were insecure on such as Youtube and TikTok
•Made Mailchimp landing pages to capture new leads and drop them into their weekly newsletters as hot 🔥 leads and future potential clients
•Grew their database at no additional cost utilizing Facebook Groups for their business and collecting new members contact information
•Lastly I helped coach them with custom video ad scripts that get tens of thousands of people to watch per month that were taken on their iPhones with new people seeing them daily and joining their free email newsletters my clients had become untouched by their local competition and stand out
If you or someone you know needs help to grow their existing database or wants to start from scratch please feel free to email me at info@socialmediaguru365.com

1)What is your name and what is Finance Learning Lab?
My name is Carolyn Scissons and I own Finance Learning Lab. We help solopreneurs and small businesses starting out with anything and everything related to the finances and accounting side of their business. We have a bookkeeping package tailor made for solopreneurs that costs $115/month and includes up to 12 office hour sessions so people can connect with an accountant to ask any and all questions they have related to the numbers side of their business.
2)What is your role and goal at Finance Learning Lab?
I am the founder and my goal through Finance Learning Lab is actually pretty ambitious. We are looking transform the experience small business owners have with their finances so that it is no longer a topic that overwhelms them or causes dread but actually turns into something they enjoy. We are looking to have people who hate math start thinking that finance can be fun. We have been on a mission to become the resource hub in sharing financial literacy and have started out with sharing over 50 different educational videos on our YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/
3) Best advice you can give someone starting a new business?
Don't ignore the numbers. Too many people start a business without a financial budget or at best, a budget they created during the early business planning stage that is now collecting dust. In the first 2 years of running a business, you will be spending both time and money on marketing but you need to build in a process of reviewing the financial results you are getting from these efforts so you can figure out what to keep doing, what to stop doing and what to adjust and do differently. That is where and how knowing your numbers can help you bring in more consistent and predictable profit into your new company.
4) What is your favourite social media platform you post on?
My favorite is YouTube because it offers a treasure trove of free educational resources that go into a lot of depth. As a business owner, you need to get resourceful so finding free teaching videos is very valuable. If you are looking for free financial videos, be sure to check us out here: https://www.youtube.com/c/
5) What did you think of Marc Jeret and your experience with him?
I really enjoyed learning about the off the beaten path he is taking to social media by opening a location in a mall. Social media is a key component to starting and running a business so be sure to check out the work he is doing with Social Media Guru 365.

1)What is the top 40 under 40 and what is VanderLeek Law?
Top 40s are the best and brightest in the city. They are all different but they are all high achievers. They include business people, entrepreneurs, artists, designers, athletes, community organizers, politicians, teachers, inventors and more. They give back to the community and elevate the city through their work, whether it be in their career or volunteer work. They inspire us through everything they do.
Legal problems are complex and there are many pieces to putting the puzzle together. You need to have an expert team guiding you through the process. We help our clients understand the problem, identify solutions and work tirelessly to solve the problem and implement solutions. Our goal is to provide peace of mind. We do that with a team of professionals who share a common passion: we are in business to serve. We also have a critically acclaimed social enterprise side of the business that specializes in dealing with complex planning issues for families with disabilities.
2)Why are you a lawyer?
The Rotary value of Service above Self has always resonated with me. I have a passion to understand complex challenges in society and use logic to try to achieve clarity in the problem that I’m trying to solve. What started as an individual trait as a logic-based problem solver led to several leadership roles where I trained my teams to solve problems together using a balanced approach of logic and curiosity. In my previous work with the government and being a co-founder of a United Nations recognized non-profit FullSoul, I learned the power of advocacy, which became my strength. A humbling moment came when the previous governor-general of Canada reacted to my www.fullsoul.ca advocacy as one of the best she had heard in her career. I knew that I could enhance my strengths and pursue the legal path to make a scalable difference in the future. Now I have the privilege to use my law degree to continue to advance social justice issues and solve complex estates and will issues.
3)How long have you been practicing law in Calgary, Alberta, Canada? 2 years.
4)Why do you choose to work with VanderLeek Law?
The culture, vision, and mission of our firm are very unique. I’m able to unleash my potential as a working mother of two children and a wife. The disability advocates division of our firm helps me align my Service above Self values. It is hard to juggle family and professional growth and Vanderleek enables me to pursue work-life integration.
5)Can you tell us when you can stop by our marketing firm for a cup of Starbucks Coffee?
I’m usually flexible on Fridays.

JNF Canada is an independent Canadian charity devoted to building the State of Israel. We work with a number of Israeli NGOs to improve the lives of all Israeli citizens. We are also an environmental organization (our original mandate) and provide educational opportunities about Israel.
JNF has helped build Israel by buying land, planting trees, and building water systems, but it’s fair to ask why, in 2021, the “Start-Up Nation” needs our support. It’s because Israel’s needs have changed over the decades, and the government has to spend an inordinate amount of money on defense, fighting terrorism, and absorbing immigrants. That means that Israel is far behind in supporting its needs for social infrastructure (hospitals, rehabilitation centres, recreation, public safety, cultural arts facilities etc).
I’ve been in Calgary for 25 years.
JNF Canada has a proven track record of successful project-building. Our staff in Israel ensure timeliness, accountability, and transparency. We have the flexibility to work with different agencies in Israel, many of whom have the means to create programs and services, but not to manage fundraising and oversight for construction. This allows us to offer donors just about any kind of building project they can imagine. Something that is meaningful to them.
Our High Holiday Campaign is on now, and there are a few weeks left to YALLAH! Get Active for Israel. We have some tentative plans for late fall, but most importantly we’re anticipating the Alberta Cup Hockey Tournament in Edmonton in the new year, our Annual Campaign around Tu B’Shvat (including our ever-popular Laugh Yourself Silly Comedy Night), and our biggest event of the year, the Negev Gala, in May.
Bonus question. What did you think of my JNF Baseball Team, the “Gurus” and its players?
A fun bunch who gave their all!
Thanks for letting me feature Jewish National Fund and capture this aerial view of the teams.
Thank YOU for the help and the coverage!

The better you present yourself or your business, the faster you can have a reaction and inquiries for new business or collaboration.
Having your business represented with video (not a promo piece but an informational spot) you won't spend much time to get properly introduced and your pre-recorded message will be to the point 100% of the time. Deliver your general important info and leave the specifics for Q&A in person later!
Using video as a "scroll stoppers" and "media hooks" will bring awareness and make your information easy to digest too many.
Marc - first of all, these are SUPER fun questions, thank you for coming up with them!

]]>Email Marketing is like a baseball ⚾️ game!
One of my clients and I have a baseball game in 5 minutes.
Most of the players know him but many new players have been added. A few hundred to be exact.
I like to think of this analogy when explaining email marketing to new clients.
I will help you add the new players to your roster but you need to make sure the first time you chat with them it’s game time and you are anticipating inning 9 before the game is over and you win or lose.

1) How long have you been a lawyer?
I was admitted to the New Jersey Bar (I no longer practice there) in December 1991 and New York in January 1992.
So I’ve been practicing for 30 years.
I did work as a law clerk from 1989 till 1990 and stayed on as an Associate until 1993, at a commercial litigation firm in NYC, so my experience exceeds 32 years.
2) What is the best settlement you made?
Let me rephrase that question.
How many traffic tickets have I fought in my life as a traffic ticket defence attorney?
It's hard to put an exact number, BUT I would estimate that it's over 10,000 and counting!
I am proud to say that in my 30 years working effortlessly for New York drivers UBER, LYFT and trucker drivers and I have successfully defended thousands of drivers, saved them thousands on their tickets, saved them thousands per year on auto insurance working to defeat or mitigate their tickets.
In short, if you text and drive which you should never do... Give me a call and read my newest ebook written with the assistance of Marc Jeret called Driving With Your Phone.
3) Best advice you can give someone starting as a lawyer? The practice of law has evolved over the past 30 years, and the values and concerns that I had in 1991 are quite different than those that a new (note not young) lawyer will encounter today. From job placement issues to technology having finally and slowly starting to meet the practice of law in ways that other areas are already light-years ahead of law… go into this with your eyes open and a good perspective on what the expectations are. There are so many more new lawyers "hanging their own shingle” these days than when I started. If you do decide to go on your own make sure to have a mentor to guide you.
4) Why did you become a Lawyer? That's a great question…. So when I was in high school my strengths were in the history and language arts area, and less so in the sciences and math. Always wanting a “professional career” and not having the strengths for a medical profession, I looked into accounting and worked for a short time in an accounting position. I was drawn to Law School because of that prior interest in history and I continue to learn something new every day.
5) What did you think of Marc Jeret and your experience with him?
I met Marc Jeret about 2 years ago on Linked-in and I was impressed by his energy and out-of-the-box marketing ideas. Most of my competitors are focusing on SEO search as a means of marketing. With Marc, it's all about Social Media presence, and Marc is always innovating his approach. We have done FaceBook and Linked-in ads, e-books and funnel websites and we continue to switch it up all the time. I can't wait for Marc’s next BIG idea.
6) Can you share an experience in law that happened via digital media?
As I mentioned earlier, the law has been slower than other professional areas to absorb digital media as a means of practicing. But now that the Pandemic has changed the landscape of the world and our interactions, digital media has become a necessity to get your message out.
I have seen a slow but increasing return on investment in digital media and look forward to digital media one day becoming a leading source of new referrals.
Thank you Marc Jeret for this opportunity.

1.) Passed the bar in 2004. Worked in firms for 4 years before taking a break for about 8 years. Opened up my firm in 2015.
2.) A grueling multi-million dollar deal between two families where there were bad blood and history. Had to be very fair and diplomatic and make sure that both sides trusted me.
3.) If you have any shot at working for yourself, do it.
4.) I graduated college with a BA in English Literature, so my options were bleak.
5.) My first experience with Marc Jeret was through a charity event for US Veterans. I thought he was going places. Full of ambition and big ideas and energy.
6.) I was filmed by my firm's bank for a digital ad showing how they help businesses in the community. Was a cool experience.

1) How long have you been a lawyer?
Well, I have been practicing since 2006.
2) What is the best settlement you made?
In terms of dollars, our best settlement happened recently.
Negotiations that got $2 million back for our client that she lost while being represented by another firm that didn’t file a claim properly. We were barred from making another claim but we were able to successfully negotiate an outcome based on a case that was a game-changer to the negotiations. Although I’d love to take full credit for that, the credit goes to my junior associate Katie who found this case which allowed us to re-open negotiations and make stuff happen for this client. It also saved the hides of the lawyers at the other firm who otherwise would’ve ended up being sued.
3) Best advice you can give someone starting as a lawyer?
Be a problem solver first and a lawyer second.
A lot of things can get resolved if you look at the big picture. In family law, you can be the type of lawyer that has a narrow focus on only winning cases or the type of lawyer that keeps families out of court and helps them to restructure their family healthily, and only uses court as a last resort.
I tell my associates that the best family lawyers always stay up to date with their skills and the law (lifelong learners) but they also have to be genuinely compassionate. Clients trust us with their intimate details about their families and they deserve the best representation to help them through what can be one of the most challenging experiences of their lives.
4) Why did you become a Lawyer?
I was trying to get into grad school in psychology. I didn’t get in so I took a long shot and I applied to law school. I was hoping to get into any program to avoid having to pay back student loans - I was a single mom working at a minimum wage job!
When I was accepted I was quite surprised and thought the admissions department at the faculty of law had made a mistake!
After my first year of law school, however, I loved it and it turned out to be a better career fit for me. I always say my career found me by default.
5) What did you think of Marc Jeret and your experience with him?
I was impressed by how savvy he was with marketing strategies and what my associates discussed with me about him (he’d met with my associates to share info about effective vlogging).
We don’t get impressed so easily, but Marc caught our attention.
Marc has unique ideas and skills to offer - not everyone has those skills.
6) Can you share an experience in law that happened via digital media?
With COVID we’ve had to modify our practice to take place mostly online.
Being able to meet with clients, attend court, and mediate online via “web x” has been revolutionary in helping the legal profession to address previous access to Justice roadblocks.
Hopefully, after Covid, these online benefits will be here to stay and be available and more accessible to people with mobility issues, elderly people, people in remote areas or confined places such as hospitals etc.
Covid has forced the legal profession to embrace online platforms and this has been an excellent experience for the most part...we just need to watch those filters! Lol

Which social media platform do you rank as your #1 and why?
Instagram is #1 for getting new business with the use of local hashtags and popular hashtags to get the most engagement.
I recommend adding hashtags in your comments, so it doesn't look cluttered.
A maximum of 5 hashtags is what looks good if you decide to add it to a caption.
#yyc #yycheadshots #yycfashion #yycmodels #yycphotographer
Are my most common hashtags.
Sometimes to get even more traffic I use broader hashtags like #igerscanada #alberta #vscoportraits
